COLLABORATION WITH JOEY LEVENSON FROM SPC ECO

Liquid Gas is currently collaborating on 2 new tracks with SPC ECO's (www.spceco.com) sound tinkerer Joey Levenson (www.myspace.com/thesoyoung). Joey and Othmar know each other for 10 years and it's come the right time to do something together. The 2 new songs are more guitar-heavy than recent Liquid Gas album "The Sky". So be prepared for a journey into the abyss of sound.

"RADIO FREIER FALL" INTERVIEW

This thursday, 17.01.2013 radiostation RAI Sender Bozen will be transmitting a interview about the new album "The Sky" for the music format "Freier Fall" from 19.45-20.30. Be shure to tune in.
It's an easy talk about the new music, the old music, some John's Revolution stories and some Jesus Christ Superfuzz with RAI journalist Reinhold Giovanett (author of the photo).

"OUTSIDE" TOPS SONG OF THE YEAR POLL

In the annual expert lists by the "Headliner" music magazine, Liquid Gas scored twice. Several music journalists/experts gave their top 2012 band, album, song, video, newcomer and dissapointment list.
Liquid Gas scored one first place for "Song of the Year" with "Outside" and a 3th place as "Newcomer of the Year".

"THE SKY" ALBUM OUT NOW!

"The Sky" ... is blue and clear today. A good day for an album-release. Album #2 contains 10 songs (as all albums should!) and would like to take you on a trip. From the shoegazing first album through the "Dead Or Alive" single last year, it's a natural evolution leading into a more electronic soundworld. Atmospheres are darker as well as lyrics, but the melodies still shine. Enjoy.
